If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, provided the item is in its original condition and packaging.

If your order is lost during shipping, HIPPSC team will file a claim with the shipper on your behalf, but cannot be held liable for the lost order. All orders are shipped with full insurance to cover your loss. If your order is damaged during shipping we highly recommend you notify the delivery agent (UPS, FedEx or DHL) prior to accepting it.

HIPPSC cannot be held liable for lost or damaged goods. When shipping your order we include insurance for this reason. Claims must be made by the recipient directly with the delivery agent.

Shrink fitting is a process used to assemble cutting tools by heating a shrink fit tool holder, then rapidly cooling it to contract. This allows the tool holder to fit securely over cutting tools. It leverages thermal expansion and contraction to achieve a high-precision, strong grip on the tool shank.

• Low Runout: Shrink fit tooling offers superb accuracy and concentricity, often guaranteed to .0001” (2.54 μm) or better.
• Strong Grip: The gripping force is significantly higher than other tool holding methods, such as collet or hydraulic chucks.
• Quick Tool Changes: The process allows for rapid tool changes, improving productivity by reducing downtime.
• Extended Tool Life: The uniform pressure and superior balance help extend the lifespan of both the tool and the spindle.
• Clean Setup: The sealed system reduces contamination and maintains cleaner bores.

A shrink fit machine is a device used in machining to securely hold cutting tools in place using the principles of thermal expansion and contraction. The process involves heating the tool holder to expand its bore, allowing the insertion of the cutting tool shank. Upon cooling, the bore contracts, exerting a strong, uniform gripping force on the tool shank, typically around 10,000 lbs of force – more than 5 times that of collet, milling, or hydraulic chucks.

Our shrink fit machines can heat tool holders made by alloy steels or stainless steels.

HIPPSC engineers have programmed the optimal temperatures into the machines for various tool holders, considering taper, clamping diameter, and materials of your tool holder:

• QR-Code Scanner: Use it to access pre-defined temperature and heating time data for your tool holder.
• Intelligent Touch Console: Access pre-programmed settings directly, ensuring a plug-and-play and fool-proof operation.

The longevity of a HIPPSC shrink fit machine is determined by factors such as usage, maintenance, and operating conditions. Regular maintenance can substantially prolong its lifespan. When used appropriately, it can remain functional for more than ten years.
